1 lb ground lamb

1 1/2 lbs potatoes , peeled and chopped
1 ounce butter
4 tablespoons fresh milk
2 ounces lancashire cheese , crumbled

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 375°F.

3.Add the chopped onion, bay leaf, sliced mushrooms, and sliced carrots to the skillet and continue to cook until the vegetables are tender.
4.Sprinkle the plain whole wheat flour over the ingredients in the skillet and stir until fully combined.
5.Gradually pour in the beef stock and add the tomato puree, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
6.Once the mixture begins to bubble, reduce the heat and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes until the sauce thickens.
