Ingredients

13 ounces lettuce ( bagged lettuce of your choice or pick , wash and hand-tear your own )
2 hard-boiled eggs , quartered
1 English cucumber , sliced
2 tomatoes , sliced ( or 4 Romas )
1 1/2 lbs New York strip steaks
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 lb frozen french fries ( I use Ore-Ida Golden , Crinkle , or Waffle , but use your favorite )
1/4 teaspoon seasoning salt ( or you can use regular salt )
1 cup pre-shredded mozzarella cheese
1 1/2 cups croutons
1 bottle salad dressing ( I use Good Seasons , but Ranch or Blue Cheese or your favorite will work well , too , use to taste )

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 425°F.
2.Spread the frozen french fries in a single layer on a baking sheet or in a deep-dish pizza pan.
3.Season the fries with salt and seasoning salt.
4.Bake the fries for 25 to 30 minutes or according to the package instructions, stirring once during cooking.
5.Rub olive oil, salt, and pepper onto steaks.
6.Preheat a grill to high heat and grill steaks for 3-5 minutes per side, or until desired doneness is reached.
7.Allow the steaks to rest before slicing thinly.
8.Combine the lettuce, sliced cucumber, sliced tomatoes, quartered hard-boiled eggs, shredded mozzarella, croutons, and sliced steak in a large bowl.
9.Add salad dressing to taste and toss gently until everything is well coated.
10.Serve the salad with the baked french fries on top of the salad or on the side.
