My Famous 'Baked' Mostaccioli is a recipe that has been passed down in my family for many years. It is a classic Italian-American dish that is full of flavor and satisfying comfort food. The combination of pasta, meat, and cheese makes it a popular and crowd-pleasing option for family dinners, potlucks, and gatherings. This dish is also great for making ahead of time, as it reheats well and can be portioned out for easy lunches throughout the week.

Instructions

.Cook the mostaccioli noodles according to package directions, then drain and rinse in cold water.
.While the noodles are cooking, brown the ground beef and Italian sausage in a large skillet over medium-high heat with vegetable oil.
.Once the meat is browned, add the chopped onion and green pepper and cook until the vegetables are tender.
.Add in the spaghetti sauce, tomato paste, and Pace Picante sauce, then stir to combine.
.Add garlic salt and Italian seasoning to taste.
.In a greased 9x13 baking dish, layer half the cooked noodles, then half the meat sauce, and half the mozzarella cheese.
.Repeat the layers once more, then cover with foil and bake in a preheated 350 degree Fahrenheit oven for 30 minutes.
.Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
