Ingredients

500 g cremini mushrooms , sliced
1 tablespoon butter
1 big onion
1 tablespoon rosemary
1 tablespoon dry white wine
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 small zucchini , sliced
150 -250 g gruyere cheese , thinly sliced
1 sheet puff pastry , thawed
1 egg , beaten

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
2.In a large pan, melt butter over medium-high heat, and add sliced mushrooms and onions. Cook until mushrooms have released their moisture, about 5-7 minutes, then stir in rosemary and cook another 2-3 minutes.
3.Add white wine, salt, and pepper and cook until liquid has evaporated, about 2-3 minutes.
4.On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry into a rectangle.
5.Arrange the sliced zucchini on the pastry, leaving a thin border along the edges.
6.Spread the mushroom mixture over the zucchini and top with thin slices of gruyere cheese.
7.Fold the edges of the pastry over the filling, creating a rustic, free-form tartlet.
8.Brush the pastry with beaten egg.
9.Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
10.Let cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
