9 ounces box.green giant frozen asparagus cuts
1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine
1 lb fresh button mushrooms or 1 lb cremini mushroom , coarsely chopped
1/2 cup bread crumbs with parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese or 2 cups swiis cheese
1/2 lb lump crabmeat
8 ounces garlic-and-herb spreadable cheese ( we used Boursin cheese )
4 eggs
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
2.Microwave asparagus cuts for 2 minutes on high.
3.Melt butter or margarine in a skillet on medium heat.
4.Add the chopped mushrooms to the skillet and sauté for 5 minutes. Add bread crumbs and pepper and cook for another minute.
5.In a pie dish, press the mushroom mixture into the bottom of the dish. Leave a small indentation along the entire outer edge.
6.Sprinkle half of the cheese over the mushroom mixture. Top with the asparagus cuts and crabmeat.
7.In a bowl, beat cream cheese and eggs together until smooth. Pour over the asparagus and crabmeat.
8.Sprinkle the remaining cheese and parsley on top.
9.Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until set.
