1 1 lb mackerel or 1 lb lobster , skinned & boned
2 onions
3 3/4 cups fish stock or 3 3/4 cups vegetable stock
5 cups water
4 cups white cabbage , shredded
4 tablespoons butter , divided
2 dill pickles , sliced
12 green olives
1 tablespoon capers , drained
1 1/2 cups fresh white breadcrumbs
salt and pepper

Instructions

1.Cut the fish or lobster into small pieces.

4.Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a pan and add sliced pickles, green olives, and capers to it. Sauté for a few minutes.
5.Add the sautéed mixture to the pot and simmer for 30 minutes.
6.Melt the remaining butter in a pan and add the breadcrumbs. Cook until golden brown.
