Ingredients

3 drumstick fruit
1 medium onion
3 teaspoons cooked dal
1 tomatoes
1 garlic clove
2 teaspoons dry coconut powder
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 green chili
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
salt
3 -4 teaspoons cooking oil
1/4 teaspoon mustard seeds
1/4 teaspoon Urad Dal
3 curry leaves
4 sprigs coriander leaves
1 pinch asafoetida powder

Instructions

1.Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, urad dal, curry leaves and asafoetida powder and let it splutter.
2.Add onion, garlic and green chilli in the pan, and saute them until the onion turns golden brown.
3.Add tomatoes, turmeric powder and chilli powder and mix well. Let it cook for 5 minutes.
4.Add drumstick fruit and salt to the mixture, cover the pan and cook until drumstick becomes soft.
5.Add cooked dal and coconut powder to the mixture, stir well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
6.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
