1 egg , beaten

Instructions

2.Divide the dough into two parts and flatten each into a disk. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill for 30 minutes.

6.Roll out the second disk of dough to 1/4 inch (6 mm) thickness and cut into strips. Arrange the strips in a lattice pattern on top of the apple mixture. Brush with beaten egg.
7.Bake in the preheated oven for 45 to 50 minutes, until the crust is golden brown and the apples are tender. Let cool before serving.
