1 cup lentils
2 cups rice

1 teaspoon cumin

Instructions

7.Stir in the rice and cover the pot again, simmering for another 20 minutes.
8.Remove the pot from the heat and let it sit, covered, for an additional 10 minutes.
9.Fluff the mixture with a fork, and top with the reserved caramelized onions before serving.
