1 cup bean stock , reserved
2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 lemon , juice of
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper , freshly ground

Instructions

3.Add 3 cups of cooked beans, bean stock, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Cook for about 10 minutes.
4.Remove from heat and use an immersion blender or food processor to puree the mixture until smooth. Serve hot with pita bread or crackers.
