Ingredients

8 cups boiling water , more as needed
1 tablespoon green tea
1/4 cup sugar ( to taste )
1/4 cup fresh spearmint ( to taste )

Instructions

1.Boil 8 cups of water in a large pot.
2.Once the water has boiled, remove the pot from heat and add 1 tablespoon of green tea.
3.After 3-5 minutes of steeping, strain the tea leaves and discard them.
4.Add 1/4 cup of sugar and 1/4 cup of fresh spearmint to the pot, stirring until the sugar has dissolved.
5.Taste and adjust the sweetness and mintiness according to your personal preference.
6.Serve the tea hot or chilled over ice.
