Ingredients

1 cup bulgur , finely ground
4 cups water
1/2 cup maple syrup
2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup walnuts , chopped
Moostrahana (Baked Bulgur with Walnuts), is a Turkish baked dessert that is made with bulgur, nuts, and sugar. It's usually served during special occasions and is enjoyed with a cup of Turkish coffee. But in this recipe, instead of sugar, we're using natural sweeteners and preparing it as a healthy breakfast meal. With a blend of sweet and nutty flavors and a hearty texture, this dish is sure to become a new breakfast favorite.

Instructions

1.Rinse the bulgur with water in a colander and let it sit for 1-2 minutes
2.In a medium pot, mix the bulgur, water, cinnamon, maple syrup, and honey.
3.Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and let the bulgur cook for around 7-8 minutes until it absorbs all the water.
4.Remove the pot from heat and cover it with a lid. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes so that the bulgur becomes fluffy and tender.
5.Preheat your oven to 350°F/180°C. After the bulgur has cooled down, mix it with the chopped walnuts using a spoon.
6.Put the mixture in the oven and bake it for 15-20 minutes.

PROS
