Mongolian Lamb is a traditional Chinese dish that has been popular for centuries. It's typically made with lamb that's been marinated in a mixture of soy sauce, sugar, and spices, and then stir-fried with vegetables and served with rice. This slow cooker version of the dish is a twist on the classic recipe, with the lamb slow-cooked to perfection in a rich, flavorful sauce. The result is a tender, juicy meat that's full of flavor, and that pairs perfectly with steamed rice and stir-fried vegetables.

Instructions

1.Add the lamb to the slow cooker.
2.Add the whisked egg to the lamb and mix well to coat.
3.In a separate bowl, mix together the soy sauce, brown sugar, cornflour, and bicarbonate of soda until well combined.
4.Pour the mixture over the lamb, making sure it's evenly distributed.
5.Add the garlic, sweet chilli sauce, hoisin sauce, Chinese five spice herbs, ginger, and leek to the slow cooker.
6.Cover the slow cooker and cook on low heat for 6-8 hours, until the lamb is tender.
