Ingredients

8 wonton wrappers
1/2 lb ground lamb

1 teaspoon garlic , minced
2 tablespoons fresh parsley , minced
1 jalapeno pepper , minced
sea salt and pepper
1 cup Greek yogurt , placed in a cheesecloth-lined sieve and drained overnight in the fridge
4 teaspoons dried mint
Mongolian Lamb Dumplings, also known as Khuushuur, are a traditional Mongolian dish enjoyed as a snack or appetizer. Instructions

1.In a medium bowl, mix together the ground lamb, minced onion, minced garlic, minced jalapeno, minced parsley, and salt and pepper to taste.
2.Lay out the wonton wrappers and place about 1 tablespoon of the lamb mixture onto the center of each wrapper.
3.Using your finger, wet the edge of the wonton wrapper with water and fold the wrapper in half to form a triangle. Pinch the edges of the wonton together to seal the filling inside.
4.In a large pot of boiling water, add the dumplings in batches and cook for 4-5 minutes or until they float to the top.
5.Meanwhile, in a small bowl, mix together the drained Greek yogurt and dried mint.
6.Serve the boiled dumplings hot, garnished with the yogurt sauce and additional parsley if desired.
