Ingredients

1 package dynasty saifun bean threads
1 chicken bouillon cube
4 teaspoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons dynasty hoisin sauce
1 tablespoon dynasty szechwan chili sauce
1 tablespoon Kikkoman soy sauce
3 teaspoons vegetable oil , divided
1 lb lean tender beef , cut into 1/2 inch cubes
5 green onions with tops , cut into 1/2 inch lengths
1 can dynasty water chestnuts , drained and coarsely chopped
4 cups packed shredded iceberg lettuce
Mongolian Beef over Lettuce is a salad recipe with a twist. Inspired by Chinese cuisine, this salad uses lean tender beef cooked with green onions, water chestnuts, and a delicious sauce made with hoisin sauce, szechwan chili sauce, and soy sauce. The dish is served over a bed of shredded iceberg lettuce and topped with crispy bean threads. Instructions

1.Soak saifun bean threads in hot water for 10 minutes and drain. Cut bean threads into 3-inch lengths and set aside.
2.In a small bowl, whisk together chicken bouillon cube, cornstarch, hoisin sauce, szechwan chili sauce, soy sauce, and 1 tablespoon of water. Set aside.
3.Heat 2 teaspoons of vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Stir-fry beef for 3 to 4 minutes or until browned. Remove from wok and set aside.
4.In the same wok, heat the remaining 1 teaspoon vegetable oil. Stir-fry green onions and water chestnuts for 2 minutes or until tender. Add the beef and the sauce mixture. Cook and stir for 1 minute or until sauce is thickened. Remove from heat.
5.On a large platter, arrange the lettuce. Top with the beef mixture and the bean threads. Serve immediately.
