1 egg , beaten
flour , for dredging
breadcrumbs , for coating
fat , for frying

Instructions

1.In a large bowl, mix together the cooked lamb or beef, cold mashed potatoes, grated onion, chutney or relish, curry powder, salt and pepper, and beaten egg until well-combined.

3.Dredge each patties or rissole in flour, shaking off any excess flour.
4.Coat each patty or rissole in breadcrumbs and set aside.
