12 carrots , peeled and cut into bite-sized pieces
4 potatoes , peeled and cut into bite-sized pieces

Instructions

1.In a shallow dish, combine flour, salt, and pepper. Toss stewing beef or chuck roast cubes in the flour mixture until well-coated.

3.Pour in the heated beef broth or water, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce. Add in the beef bones, onion, bay leaves, and allspice.
