Ingredients

3 -4 potatoes , peeled and chopped
1 -2 egg
flour
1 head cabbage , chopped
1 lb margarine ( my grandmother uses Parkay )
salt , to taste
ground pepper , to taste
Haluski is a traditional Eastern European dish that combines mashed potatoes and sautéed cabbage, making it a hearty and filling comfort food. Instructions

1.Boil potatoes in salted water. When potatoes are cooked, mash them with a fork or potato masher and let them cool down.
2.In a separate bowl, whisk eggs and gradually add flour until the mixture becomes thick and pasty. Use additional flour if needed.
3.Add mashed potatoes to egg-flour mixture and combine.
4.In a large pot or pan, melt margarine over medium heat and add chopped cabbage. Sauté until cabbage is softened.
5.Add potato mixture to the pot with cabbage and stir until fully mixed. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6.Cook on medium-low heat while stirring occasionally until the mixture is heated through and lightly browned on the bottom.
