Ingredients

2 slices bread ( white is traditional but we use what we have on hand , usually multigrain )
1 tablespoon Miracle Whip
1 -2 slice processed cheese ( good with other kinds of cheese too ! )
2 tablespoons onions , chopped
salt and pepper
2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

1.Heat a skillet over low-medium heat.
2.Spread Miracle Whip on one side of each slice of bread.
3.Sprinkle salt and pepper on the Miracle Whip.
4.Add the cheese and chopped onions on one slice of bread, press down lightly.
5.Place the other slice of bread on top of the cheese and onions, Miracle Whip side facing down.
6.Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in the heated skillet.
7.Place the sandwich on the skillet.
8.Spread 1 tablespoon of butter on the top of the sandwich.
9.Cook for approximately 3 minutes or until golden brown, flip the sandwich and repeat on the other side.
10.Remove the sandwich from the skillet and let it cool for several minutes before slicing it in half and serving.
