Ingredients

1 tablespoon canola oil
1 1/2 lbs rump roast
2 garlic cloves , chopped
1 large onion , cut up
4 carrots , peeled and cut into chunks
4 celery ribs , peeled and cut into chunks
4 potatoes , cut into chunks
salt & pepper ( to taste )
1 -2 teaspoon dried parsley
1 1/2 - 2 cups water
1 -2 beef bouillon cube ( optional )
Mom's Beef Stew (Pressure Cooker) is a classic recipe that has been passed down through generations of families. Instructions

1.Set your electric pressure cooker to sauté mode and let it heat up. Once hot add in the canola oil and let it coat the bottom of the pot.
2.Sear the rump roast on both sides until browned. Remove and set aside.
3.In the same pot, add in the garlic, onion, carrots, celery, and potatoes. Sauté until slightly softened.
4.Add back in the rump roast and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and dried parsley.
5.Pour in the water and add the beef bouillon cube (if using).
6.Set the pressure cooker to cook on high for 45 minutes.
7.Once done, let the pressure naturally release for 10 minutes before manually releasing the rest.
8.Serve hot and enjoy!
