Ingredients

400 g prime beef mince
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 small brown onion ( or half a large onion )
1/2 cup red capsicum ( Diced )
1/2 cup green capsicum ( Diced )
1 1/2 cups cabbage , chopped into small pieces
1 medium carrot ( Diced )
1 can of diced tomato including juice
1 tablespoon hoisin sauce ( Available at Asian grocery )
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
1 tablespoon soft brown sugar
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon red wine
1/2 clove crushed garlic
basil , Oregano , Sea salt , Turmeric
1/4 cup water
1 -2 tablespoon cornflour
1 1/2 cups uncooked rice

Instructions

1.Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
2.Add onion and cook for 2-3 minutes until translucent.
3.Add beef and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned, breaking it up with a wooden spoon as it cooks.
4.Add the red and green capsicum, cabbage, and carrot, and cook for 5-6 minutes until vegetables are softened.
5.Stir in the diced tomato, hoisin sauce, Dijon mustard, mayonnaise, brown sugar, lemon juice, red wine, garlic, and herbs and season with salt.
6.Bring to a simmer and cook for 10-12 minutes until the sauce thickens.
7.In a separate saucepan, cook the rice according to packet instructions.
8.Serve the beef mince with rice.
