Ingredients

250 g ground poppy seeds or 250 g poppy seed baking mix
100 g melted butter
20 g sugar
2 eggs
50 g granola cereal or 25 g ground almonds
150 g raisins
300 g flour
6 teaspoons baking powder
100 g low fat Quark ( firm yogurt works as well )
6 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons applesauce
100 g sugar
1 pinch salt
1 teaspoon ground vanilla

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 180°C.
2.Combine poppy seeds, melted butter, sugar and eggs in a large bowl and mix well.
3.Stir in granola cereal or ground almonds and raisins.
4.In another bowl mix flour and baking powder and add to the first mixture.
5.Add Quark, milk, oil and apple sauce to the dough and stir well.
6.Finally add sugar, salt and vanilla and mix well until you have a smooth dough.
7.Pour the mixture into a greased and dusted bundt cake mold.
8.Bake the cake at 180°C for 40-50 minutes.
