4 cups all-purpose flour

1 cup butter or 1 cup margarine
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups sour cream
1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 350°F.
2.Mix together flour, baking soda and ground cardamom in a medium bowl.
3.In a separate large bowl, beat the butter and sugar together.
4.Add eggs and sour cream to the large bowl. Beat until well combined.
5.Add in the dry ingredient mixture and mix on low speed until just combined.
6.Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 baking dish and bake for 35-40 minutes
7.Cool the cake on a wire rack and sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
