Ingredients

1 cup green chili
salt
a little lime juice
2 cups gram flour
1 teaspoon mango powder ( amchur )
oil , to deep fry
water , for binding the pakora mixture together

Instructions

1.Wash and slit the green chili into halves, making sure to leave the stems intact.
2.In a bowl, mix the gram flour, salt, mango powder and lime juice. Gradually add water to make a smooth batter.
3.Heat oil for deep frying in a kadhai.
4.Dip the green chili into the batter and make sure it is coated evenly.
5.Gently drop the coated green chili into the hot oil and fry till they turn golden brown.
6.Remove from the kadhai and place them on an absorbent paper.
7.Serve hot with coriander-mint chutney or ketchup.
