Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2.In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
3.Add oats, sugar, flour, corn syrup, milk, vanilla extract, and salt to the melted butter. Stir until well combined.
4.Drop a tablespoon of the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Space them about 3 inches apart.
5.Bake for 6 to 8 minutes until the edges turn golden brown.
6.Remove from oven, let cool for a minute, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
7.Melt milk chocolate chips in a double boiler or in the microwave in 20-second bursts. Stir until smooth.
8.Spread melted chocolate on the bottom of half of the cookies and sandwich with the remaining cookies.
