3 cups olive oil , or as needed , divided
1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
1 large onion , chopped
1/2 teaspoon baharat ( Middle Eastern spice mix )
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 cup finely chopped parsley
1 package egg roll wrappers

Instructions

1.In a pan, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat.
2.Add the lean ground beef, chopped onion, baharat, salt, and black pepper to the pan, mixing together well.
3.Cook until the beef is browned.
4.Once the beef is cooked, add the finely chopped parsley and mix together. Set aside.
5.Preheat the oven to 375°F.
6.Take an egg roll wrapper and lightly brush one side with olive oil.
7.Place a tablespoon of the beef mixture onto the egg roll wrapper, fold the top and bottom edges over the filling, then roll up tightly like a burrito. Brush the remaining side of the wrapper with olive oil and place it onto a lined baking sheet.
8.Repeat this process until all the filling mixture is used up.
9.Bake the Burek in the oven for 25-30 minutes until they are golden brown and crispy.
