Instructions

1.Preheat your microwave to 50% power.
2.Clean your utensils thoroughly and gather all ingredients together.
3.Add the egg white in a clean and dry bowl. Beat the egg white with an electric mixer until the egg white forms stiff peaks.
4.Add the golden icing sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time, while continuing to beat the mixture until it becomes thick, glossy and smooth.
5.Scoop the mixture onto a baking paper lined microwave-safe plate, using a tablespoon.
6.Make small mounds with the mixture, and then use a spoon to create a well in the center of each mound.
7.Microwave your meringues on 50% power for 2 minutes to start. After that, microwave on 30-second intervals at 50% power until each meringue is firm on the outside but soft on the inside.
8.Allow the meringues to cool completely before serving.
