18 corn tortillas

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
2.Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, cook for a minute.
3.Add green chilies, chicken, black beans, cream of chicken soup, and cumin. Cook until heated through.
4.Layer 6 tortillas on the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Top with 1/3 of the chicken mixture, spreading it evenly. Repeat with 2 more layers of 6 tortillas and chicken mixture, ending with a layer of tortillas on top.
5.Spread salsa verde on top of the tortillas and sprinkle shredded cheese over it.
6.Bake for 25-30 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped cilantro.
