Ingredients

2 slices white bread , torn into small pieces
1/2 cup milk
2 lbs lean ground beef ( I use a mix of beef and pork )
2 eggs , beaten
1 small onion , finely chopped
3 garlic cloves , minced
1/4 cup finely chopped fresh parsley
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
50 Spanish olives with pimento ( approx )
2 jars picante sauce

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 375F (180C).
2.Soak bread in the milk until milk is absorbed.
3.In a large bowl, mix ground beef, beaten eggs, soaked bread, onion, garlic, parsley, and black pepper until combined.
4.Scoop 1 ½ tbsp. meat mixture and press an olive into the center, forming a meatball around the olive. Repeat until all meat is used.
5.Place meatballs on baking sheet, spacing them evenly.
6.Bake meatballs for 25-30 minutes, or until fully cooked.
7.Pour picante sauce over meatballs, serve hot.
