Ingredients

1 package rotini noodles
1 lb sausage ( cooked , drained of all grease and crumbled ) or 1 lb ground beef ( cooked , drained of all grease and crumbled )
1 large sweet onion ( diced )
1 tablespoon taco seasoning or 1 tablespoon chili powder
1 jar of pace thick & chunky salsa
1 jar nacho cheese , dip ( I use the Queso dip by Old El Paso )
2 teaspoons Lawry 's Seasoned Salt
1 teaspoon salt and pepper
1 teaspoon garlic granules or 1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper ( optional ) or 1 teaspoon Emeril 's Original Essence ( optional )
1 cup shredded monterey jack cheese

Instructions

1.Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and prepare a 9x13 baking dish with non-stick spray.
2.Cook rotini noodles according to package instructions until they are al dente.
3.In a skillet, cook the sausage or ground beef over medium heat until browned and crumbled. Drain all the grease and set aside.
4.In the same skillet, add diced onion and cook until translucent. Add taco seasoning or chili powder, Pace salsa, and queso dip. Mix well and remove from heat.
5.Combine the cooked rotini noodles with the meat mixture and stir well until combined.
6.Spread this mixture into the prepared dish and sprinkle with shredded Monterey Jack cheese.
7.Bake for 20-30 minutes, uncovered, until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Serve hot.
