5 jalapeno peppers ( or other preferred chiles )
1 lb lean ground beef
1 egg
1/2 cup dry breadcrumbs
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup monterey jack cheese , shredded
1 medium onion , chopped
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
salsa ( your choice )
tortilla ( flour or corn ) ( optional )
chopped fresh cilantro ( optional )
queso fresco ( optional )

Instructions

1.Preheat your oven to 350F.
2.Preheat a skillet over medium heat. Add jalapeno peppers and chopped onions to the skillet and saute for 5 to 7 minutes.
