Ingredients

1 lb frozen ground turkey ( usually cheaper than fresh )
1 package macaroni & cheese dinner mix ( the kind with the squishy cheese package , not the powdered cheese . I use the Kraft Deluxe 2 % milk fo )
1 jar salsa
1 can black beans , drained and rinsed
2 teaspoons chili powder ( to taste )
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper ( if you like a little kick )

Instructions

2.While the turkey is cooking, cook the macaroni & cheese dinner mix according to the package instructions. Drain the noodles when they are done cooking, and set them aside.
3.When the turkey is fully cooked, add the jar of salsa to the skillet. Stir until the turkey and salsa are well combined.
4.Add the can of black beans to the skillet and stir again. Let the mixture simmer for a few minutes until everything is heated through.
5.Add the chili powder and cayenne pepper to the skillet and stir again until everything is well combined.
6.Finally, add the cooked macaroni noodles to the skillet. Stir everything together, and let the casserole simmer for a few more minutes to allow the flavors to combine.
