Ingredients

1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon Mexican oregano
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon ground coriander

1 teaspoon lime juice
2 tablespoons olive oil ( if pan-frying )
1 tablespoon butter
4 eggs
4 hamburger buns , sliced
1 avocado , pitted , peeled , and thinly sliced

Instructions

1.In a large bowl, combine cumin, oregano, chili powder, coriander, red pepper flakes, black pepper and salt.
2.In the bowl of a food processor, pulse garlic, serrano pepper, and onion until finely chopped.
3.Add the garlic mixture to the spices and mix well.
4.Add ground beef and cilantro and mix until all ingredients are well incorporated. Divide into 4 parts and form into 4 burgers.
5.In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise, hot sauce, and lime juice.
6.Heat a large griddle or pan over medium-high heat and add olive oil. Cook burgers for 4-5 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
7.In a separate pan, melt butter over medium-high heat and fry eggs to desired doneness.
8.Toast hamburger buns.
9.Spread mayo mixture on bottom buns and place a burger on each bun. Top with sliced avocado, a fried egg, and pico de gallo. Cover with top bun.
