2 cups neely 's bbq dry rub seasonings

5 tablespoons light brown sugar
5 tablespoons sugar
1/2 tablespoon fresh ground black pepper
1/2 tablespoon onion powder
1/2 tablespoon ground mustard
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

1.Preheat your smoker to 225°F.
2.In a medium bowl, combine paprika, sugar and onion powder.
3.Season the beef short ribs and pork spareribs with neely's bbq dry rub seasonings.
4.Place the meat on the smoker and cook for 5 hours.
5.In a large pot, combine ketchup, water, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, sugar, fresh ground black pepper, onion powder, ground mustard, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce.
6.Bring the sauce to a boil and reduce heat to low. Simmer for 20 minutes.
7.Brush the sauce on the meat and smoke for an additional hour until the meat is tender and pulls away from the bone.
8.Let the meat rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
