Meatloaf is a classic American comfort food, but this recipe takes it up a notch with the addition of Italian seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, and mozzarella cheese. Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2.Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, then add in the onion, green bell pepper, and celery. Cook until the vegetables are soft.
3.Add in the whole peeled tomatoes with juice, tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, sugar, oregano, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, and water. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes, then add in the fresh parsley.
4.In a separate bowl, mix together the ground beef chuck, Italian seasoned bread crumbs, garlic powder, Creole seasoning, cayenne pepper, and salt.
5.Flatten the meat mixture into a rectangle on a sheet of wax paper, then sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese and fresh parsley on top. Roll up the meatloaf tightly, using the wax paper to help you keep the roll tight.
6.Place the meatloaf roll in a greased baking dish and sprinkle the Italian seasoning on top. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, then let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
