Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
2.In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, parsley, grated onion, ground cumin, paprika, ground coriander, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper until well combined.
3.Form the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch (2.5 cm) in diameter.
4.Heat the oil in a large ovenproof skillet or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
5.Remove the meatballs to a plate and set aside.
6.In the same skillet or Dutch oven, add the chopped onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 2-3 minutes.
7.Add the canned tomatoes, tomato sauce, chopped parsley, chopped cilantro, olive oil, cumin, salt, black pepper, coriander, cinnamon, paprika, turmeric, and cayenne pepper. Stir to combine.
8.Return the meatballs to the skillet or Dutch oven, submerging them in the tomato sauce.
9.Cover the skillet or Dutch oven with a lid or aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes.
10.Serve hot with crusty bread or over rice or couscous.
