Meatball subs are a popular sandwich in America, often associated with sports games and big appetites. Slow cooking the meatballs ensures that they are tender and flavorful, and the addition of cheese makes them indulgent and satisfying. The sub rolls are lightly toasted to ensure that the bread is crisp and can hold up to the sauce and cheese. This recipe is perfect for those looking for comfort food that is easy to make and can provide leftovers for the next day.
