Ingredients

20 ounces panir ( cubed )
2 tablespoons oil or 2 tablespoons ghee
1/4 teaspoon mustard seeds
1/2 teaspoon cumin seed
1 small onion
1/4 teaspoon ginger
3 -4 garlic cloves
2 large tomatoes
1/4 teaspoon sugar
salt ( to taste )
1/2 teaspoon garam masala
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
3/4 teaspoon coriander powder
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1/4 cup water ( or as needed )
1 cup peas
1/4 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons fresh cilantro

Instructions

1.In a large pan, heat oil or ghee and add mustard seeds and cumin seeds.
2.Once they splutter, add chopped onion, ginger and garlic to it.
3.Sauté until the onion becomes translucent.
4.Add chopped tomatoes, sugar and salt and cook until the tomatoes become soft.
5.Add garam masala, chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and cumin powder and cook for a minute.
6.Add water and allow the mixture to simmer.
7.Add peas and paneer and cook for another 5 minutes.
8.Finally, add heavy cream and cilantro and mix well.
