Ingredients

1 English cucumber , peeled and diced
1/2 cup raisins
3 cups whole milk yogurt , drained ( read intro )
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup green onion , chopped
1 tablespoon of fresh mint , chopped ( NOT dried )
2 tablespoons fresh dill weed , chopped
2 garlic cloves , peeled and finely minced
3 tablespoons walnuts , finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt , to taste
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon of fresh mint
2 tablespoons fresh rose petals , cut into ribbons
1 dried rose bud ( optional )

Instructions

1.Add the diced cucumber to a small bowl and sprinkle with salt. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
2.In a large bowl, mix together the drained yogurt, sour cream, chopped green onion, chopped mint, chopped dill weed, and garlic until well combined.
3.Rinse the cucumber in cold water and pat dry. Add it to the yogurt mixture along with the chopped walnuts and black pepper. Stir until well combined.
4.Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and chill the Mast-o Khiar in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
5.Before serving, top the dip with fresh mint, rose petals, and a dried rose bud (optional).
