1 cup milk , scalded
1 cup sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon

all-purpose flour , 6 cans
4 eggs
2 cups raisins ( optional )

Instructions

1.In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast in the warm water and set aside.
2.In a separate large mixing bowl, combine the scalded milk, sugar, cinnamon, butter, and salt. Mix well.

4.Add the eggs and continue to mix well.
5.Add yeast mixture and mix well.
6.Add the raisins (optional) and mix well.
7.Knead the dough for about 10 minutes on a floured surface.
8.Grease a large mixing bowl and place the kneaded dough inside. Cover it and let it rise for at least one hour.
9.Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease two 9x5 inch bread pans.
10.After the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it into the two bread pans.
11.Bake for 45 - 50 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and let it cool.
12.Slice and serve.
