1 -2 teaspoon ground peri-peri ( scotch-bonnet chilies ) ( optional )

Instructions

1.Roast the cumin, clove, mace, poppy seeds, mustard seeds, coriander, and cinnamon in a skillet over medium heat, stirring frequently for 2-3 minutes or until the spices turn golden brown and fragrant.
2.Remove the skillet from heat and allow it to cool completely.
3.After the spice mixture cools, grind it into a fine powder using a spice grinder, coffee grinder, or mortar and pestle.
4.Store the spice blend in an airtight container to preserve its flavor.
