Maple Glazed Ribs are a popular main course food in Canada and the United States. These ribs are coated in a sweet homemade glaze made with maple syrup, brown sugar, ketchup, cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and mustard powder. Baby back pork ribs are a preferred meat choice as they are leaner than other options. Not only does the sweetness of the syrup develop a heavenly caramelized crust on the outside of the ribs, but they're also juicy and moist on the inside.

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
2.Place the ribs into a roasting pan, salt them, and cover with foil.
3.Bake for 2.5-3 hours until they are tender and fall off the bone.
4.While the ribs are cooking, mix together the maple syrup, brown sugar, ketchup, cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and mustard powder in a small saucepan over medium heat.
5.Cook, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens syrupy.
6.After the ribs have finished cooking, increase the oven temperature to 450°F (230°C), brush the glaze onto the ribs, and bake uncovered for an additional 10-15 minutes until the glaze is caramelized.
