Ingredients

1 cup glutinous rice
1.5 cups coconut milk
0.5 cups sugar
2 tbsp. palm sugar
4 ripe mangoes
1/4 tsp. salt
2 pandan leaves
Sesame seeds (optional)
Mango Sticky Rice is a delicious Thai dessert that's perfect for any occasion. This sweet and creamy dessert is made with glutinous rice, coconut milk, sugar, and fresh mangoes. It's an easy-to-make, authentic recipe that's sure to impress your friends and family.

Instructions

1.Rinse rice until water runs clear and soak for at least 2 hours, or overnight.
2.In a saucepan over medium heat, combine coconut milk, sugars, salt, and pandan leaves. Stir until sugar is dissolved and set aside.
3.Drain rice and place in a pot with 1.5 cups of water. Bring to a boil then reduce to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
4.Uncover rice and pour in the coconut milk mixture. Stir until evenly combined and cover once again. Simmer for an additional 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until rice is fully cooked and most of the liquid has been absorbed.
5.Remove from heat and leave uncovered for 5 minutes before fluffing with a fork.
6.Slice the mangoes, serve rice with mango on top and sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.
