2 teaspoons fennel seeds
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Instructions

1.Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.
2.Add the sliced onions, meatloaf mixture, and garlic. Cook until the meat is browned and the onions are translucent, stirring occasionally.
3.Add white wine, crushed tomatoes, water, chicken base, tomato paste, oregano, fennel seeds, red pepper flakes, and baking soda. Stir well to combine.
4.Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally.
5.Remove the pot from heat and stir in the butter. Add salt to taste.
