2 tablespoons vegetable oil
300 g vanilla , creme fruche or 300 g thick vanilla yogurt
1 packet Maltesers

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease and line a 22cm (8in) square cake tin.
2.In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, caster sugar, and cocoa.
3.Add in the eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla/crème friche/thick vanilla yogurt. Mix well until the batter is smooth.
4.Gently fold in the Maltesers, reserving a handful for decorating.
5.Pour the mixture into the prepared cake tin and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean.
6.Allow the cake to cool in the tin for 10 minutes before removing and leaving to cool completely on a wire rack.
7.Once cool, decorate the top of the cake with the remaining Maltesers.
8.Serve and enjoy!
