1 beef bouillon cube
1/2 cup water
5 tablespoons burgundy cooking wine
8 large potatoes
4 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup half-and-half
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons pepper
Shepherd's Pie is a classic British dish that traditionally uses lamb or beef mince topped with mashed potatoes. The dish is known to be hearty, filling, and satisfying. Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
2.Peel and chop the potatoes, place them in a large pot of water, and bring the water to a boil. Cook the potatoes until they are tender, then drain them and add the butter, sour cream, half-and-half, salt, and 2 teaspoons of pepper. Mash all the ingredients together until they are smooth and set aside.
3.In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until it is browned and thoroughly cooked. Add the chopped onions, garlic, grated carrot, chopped celery, and canned green beans to the skillet, and cook the mixture for about 10 minutes stirring occasionally.
4.Add 3 teaspoons of fresh ground pepper, 2 teaspoons of basil, 2 teaspoons of goya adobo seasoning, 1 teaspoon mesquite powder, 1 beef bouillon cube, 1/2 cup of water, and 5 tablespoons of burgundy cooking wine to the skillet. Stir the ingredients until well combined and let the mixture simmer for 15 minutes. Remove the skillet from the heat.
5.Spread the beef vegetable mixture into a 9 x 13 inch baking dish, then spread the mashed potatoes on top of the beef mixture.
6.Bake the shepherd's pie for 25 minutes in the preheated oven until it is heated through and the mashed potatoes are golden brown.
7.Let the dish cool for a few minutes before serving.
