6 cardamom pods
2 teaspoons salt
2 1/2 cups water
2 cups basmati rice
2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
2 tablespoons chopped parsley

Instructions

6.Add basmati rice to the pot, cover it with a tight lid, and let it cook for 20 to 25 minutes.
7.Once the rice is cooked, remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.
8.Garnish with cilantro and parsley, and serve hot!
