Ingredients

1 teaspoon dried basil leaves
1 cup whole wheat flour
3/4 teaspoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
3 tablespoons washed and finely chopped coriander leaves
1 teaspoon dried fenugreek leaves
1 garlic clove , pounded
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/4 inch piece fresh ginger , pounded
1/4 cup jawar flour
4 medium sized cauliflower florets
1/2 medium sized onion , finely chopped
hot water , as required to knead the dough

Instructions

1.Mix the whole wheat flour, jowar flour, garlic, ginger, coriander, dried fenugreek leaves, red chili powder, coriander powder, dried basil leaves and turmeric powder thoroughly.
2.Add hot water little by little to the bowl and make a dough. Knead the dough with your hands for a few minutes and let it rest for 10-15 minutes.
3.Divide the dough and cauliflower florets into equal parts. Grate the cauliflower florets and mix them in the dough.
4.Roll each portion of the dough into flat rotis (theplas) and cook each side on a non-stick tawa (griddle) until golden brown. Serve hot.

PROS
