5 liters water
1 liter black currant leaves
1 lemon
400 g sugar
1/4 teaspoon fresh yeast

Instructions

1.Rinse black currant leaves and put them in a large pot with water.
2.Zest the lemon and squeeze the juice. Add both to the pot.

4.Remove from heat and let cool. Once cooled, strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve.
5.Add sugar and yeast to the strained mixture and stir until sugar is fully dissolved.
