Ingredients

1 green cabbage
1 1/2 cups instant rice ( I use Minute Rice )
1 lb ground beef
2 lbs ground pork
2 cans diced tomatoes
1/4 lb salt pork

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 375°F.
2.Set the cabbage to boil until the leaves are pliable, then remove from heat and rinse with cold water.
3.In a skillet, cook the ground beef and pork with salt pork. Remove excess fat and add 1 can of diced tomatoes.
4.Add cooked rice to meat mixture and mix well.
5.Separate the cabbage leaves and place a few spoonfuls of the meat mixture onto each leaf. Roll up the leaves and place them seam-down in a baking pan.
6.Pour a can of diced tomatoes over the top of the cabbage rolls.
7.Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 1 hour.
